Short Bio
Dr. Tao Peng received a Ph.D. degree in Dec 2019 at the School of Computer Science & Technology, Soochow University. From 2020 to 2022, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Health Technology and Informatics at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX, USA, successively. During this period, he obtained the “Research Talent” award from Hong Kong government. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal/conference papers, where the total impact factor (IF) of all the journal publications as the first author is IF > 150. Currently, He is an Associate Professor in School of Future Science and Engineering, Soochow University, Suzhou, China. He is also the member of IEEE and CCF, and his current research interests include AI-based medical image processing, survival prediction, and wearable equipment design.
**Note**:I have close collaborations with Duke university (美国杜克大学), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (香港理工大学), Johns Hopkins University (美国约翰霍普金斯大学), Deakin University (澳大利亚迪肯大学) and Swinburne university of technology (澳大利亚斯威本科技大学); and I am looking for well motivated students to work on AI-based medical image processing (基于AI的医学图像处理) research projects.
